How to Get Coordinates on Google Maps

Desktop

  1. Open Google Maps.

  2. Find the spot and right-click on it.

  3. Select “What’s here?”.

  4. The coordinates will appear in the info box at the bottom.

    Hints
    * If the location is a registered shop or restaurant (with name and reviews shown on the map), clicking the marker will only show the address—not the coordinates.

    * Please right-click (desktop) or press and hold (mobile) on an empty area or street near the location to get the actual latitude and longitude coordinates.

Mobile App

  1. Open the Google Maps app.

  2. Press and hold the location until a red pin appears.

  3. Coordinates will show in the info bar at the bottom.

  4. Copy the coordinates and share.
