The Moon to be

Once gentle as the moon's embrace, he now resides in a remote place, beyond all trace, like the moon.

Moon necklace

The moon's dance is composed of waxing and waning, as its ethereal phases gracefully unfold; Destiny weaves together serendipity and chance, as the song of fate remains untold.

She, a lover of the moon, was captivated by its tender glow, drawn to it like a shimmering beam in the night sky. He, gentle and devoted like the full moon, always stood by her side, illuminating their days with his unwavering presence. In a gesture of their love, she purchased two necklaces adorned with moon pendants - one large, one small - and gifted him the larger one as a symbol of their eternal connection.

Throughout the changing seasons, his moon-like gentleness persisted, yet weariness overcame her, for the moon's distance proved insurmountable, no matter her efforts. Time, a relentless teacher, brought the realisation that some things are meant to remain beyond reach.

It was her who suggested they wear the necklaces to keep each other in sync. But then she finally made the decision to remove her own necklace. In a fleeting moment, their clasped bond came undone, it was a ritual of letting go. With a sigh of relief, she removed the burden of the moon that had weighed upon her chest, finally able to breathe freely once more.

In the ebb and flow of life's gatherings and partings, time remains an uncontrollable force, irreversible in its prime. Yet, she carries the essence of the moon engraved in her mind, tracing its celestial path as a cherished memento of gentleness. As their shared journey draws to a close, she delicately stores away the cherished memories of those delightful years, safeguarding them deep within her heart like a hidden treasure to be revisited from time to time.

Design

The "thermal gilding" technology is applied to depict the cycle of the moon. Different metals are used to dye the clock face, creating layers of black that symbolise the future of mysteries, unknown, and beauty.

Understanding the owner's desire to preserve the moon's surface, the designer positioned the pendant at the one o'clock position. The end of a relationship also signifies the start of a new journey. Memories do not vanish; they merely transform into the past, gradually receding from the present.

RE: move on from the past.

We move on to the future.
